I also did this a long time ago: put together a huge set of mini case studies. The idea was to have a one-pager on many deals and to classify these in terms of performance and duration. Basically, what I observed was that most of the high-performers (even when measured in absolute amount) were quick flips. So, I wanted to read many cases to try to understand this better. This got nowhere but I have tons of case-studies I am sitting on. it is all based on public information. All the files are here — enjoy!
